On February 6th, ENIT co-hosted a webinar together with Axess Lab, focusing on accessibility in system-generated documents.
You can watch the full webinar here: Axess Lab and Enit webinar: Accessibility of System Generated PDF:s
The session was presented by Hampus Sethfors from Axess Lab and Lisa Huge from ENIT, who shared insights on what accessibility really means when documents are created automatically by systems — not manually in Word or design tools.
Most of the documents we receive today — bank statements, salary slips, tax letters, digital receipts — are system-generated. And if they come from organizations covered by accessibility legislation, they must be accessible, regardless of how they’re produced.
During the webinar, Lisa and Hampus discussed practical ways to approach this challenge and how accessibility needs to be built directly into the document generation process from the start.
By combining ENIT’s technical expertise in document-generation systems with Axess Lab’s accessibility and user perspective, the session highlighted that accessible documents are not just about compliance — they’re about quality and usability for everyone.
A big thank you to everyone who joined the session and contributed with thoughtful questions.
We’re happy to continue the conversation!
